Do you think its safe to upgrade the host elements using the HPE SPP 2019.12.0 I think I have to fix some issues with HBA controller firmware, iLO etc.

Until recently I would say use the newer drivers. U2 and later SOMETHING not sure what changed with the drivers AND the iLOs IPMI. Vmware Esxi 5.5.0 3568722 Code BIOS ForIve down graded ALL my G9s to 6.5 HP ISO vanilla drivers AND the 2015 BIOS (as the updated microcode BIOS for Spectre Meltdown is what started this whole bloody mess) - ill let you know in 2 weeks. Clarification - We have a mixed 9 node cluster running G8, G9, and G10s. Read the rules before posting. ![]()
